Cancellation Policy
1. General Information
Our aim is to provide fun, engaging, and educational cookery classes for all participants.
Classes may run weekly during term time or as one-off sessions, events, or school-based workshops. We understand that circumstances can change; however, to support planning, staffing, and fairness to other participants, we ask that you provide the required notice when cancelling or changing a booking.
All booking changes should be made via email.
2. Weekly Term Time Classes
When booking a term of weekly classes, you are reserving a place for your child for the full term. This place is not available to other participants once booked.
Full payment for the term is required in advance (pro-rata fees may apply for late enrolment).
If you are unable to attend a session, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.
Where a class is missed, we may offer one of the following options where possible:

Attendance at an alternative class within the same week (subject to availability)

Transfer of the session to a friend or family member (with prior agreement)

A take-home pack including recipe instructions and dry ingredients
Please note:

Missed sessions are non-refundable, even when notice has been given

Make-up sessions are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed
Cancellations or changes should be made via email.
3. One-Off Classes
When booking a one-off class, you are reserving a specific date and time which is not available to other participants.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, we require at least 7 days’ notice.

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the class will receive a full refund

Cancellations made within 7 days of the class will only be refunded if we are able to reallocate your space
Cancellations or changes should be made via email.
4. Online Classes
Online classes are delivered via a virtual platform (e.g. Zoom).
If you are unable to attend, cancellations made at least 12 hours before the class start time will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the class start time are non-refundable.

5. Parties and Events
When booking a party or event, you are reserving a specific date and time exclusively for your booking.
A £50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the date, with the remaining balance due two weeks before the event.
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us via email.

Cancellations made 28 days or more before the event will receive a full refund (including deposit)

Cancellations made within 28 days of the event will only be refunded if we are able to rebook the date
6. External Bookings
When booking The Cookery Cabin to attend your school or event, you are reserving a specific date and time exclusively for your organisation.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance payable two weeks before the start/event date.
If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us via email.

7. Extra-Curricular Classes
Extra-curricular classes follow the same cancellation terms as Weekly Term Time Classes.
8. General Notes

All cancellations and amendments must be made directly with The Cookery Cabin

Failure to attend a booked session without notice will be treated as a missed class and is non-refundable

The Cookery Cabin reserves the right to review and amend this policy where necessary
